Built a mobile finance app to speed up payment approvals.
Bujeti already had active users on its web platform, but payment and fund-request approvals were slowed by desktop-heavy workflows. Faruq designed and built a React Native app that brought payments, requests, budgets, cards, transactions, notifications, and admin approvals into a faster mobile experience.
Challenge
Bujeti is a B2B financial management platform with an existing web product and active users. The product had already proven demand, but payment and fund-request approvals were still slowed by a desktop-first workflow that made fast review difficult for approvers on the move.
Solution
- Faruq worked closely with Bujeti’s internal product, design, and engineering team to understand the existing web workflows, backend constraints, and approval logic.
- He translated the core finance experience into a React Native mobile app covering payments, fund requests, budgets, cards, transaction history, notifications, and admin approvals.
- The faster mobile approval flow helped improve the speed and volume of transactions moving through the platform.
